Pelindo Regional 3 has successfully served the first cruise ship visit post the pandemic.

Pelindo has successfully served the process for a cruise ship from Australia named Laperouse. This 130-meter-long cruise ship carrying around 250 foreign tourists and crew is the first cruise ship to do activities in Indonesia after the 2020 pandemic.
The Laperouse cruise ship arrived at the Benoa Bali port on Monday (19/09). The tourists and crew members who came were greeted presently with Balinese dances shortly before they disembarked. Hence they were immediately greeted by the President Commissioner of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) and accompanied directly by Regional Head 3 Pelindo, Port of Authority Class II Benoa Port, the Bali Provincial Government and representatives of local agents.
Regional Head 3 of Pelindo Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, on occasion, said that his party deliberately prepared a series of activities to welcome foreign tourists, considering that this cruise visit was unique because it was the first in Indonesia after the pandemic. Ardhy said that it was a sign of the revival of the tourism world after almost two years of shutting down due to the pandemic.
The Laperouse Cruise ship from Australia is planned to berth at the Port of Benoa for two days, then continue the journey and berthing to several Indonesian ports such as Probolinggo and Tanjung Emas, Semarang. Meanwhile, not only cruise Laperouse, this year Pelindo Regional 3 plans to get a ship visit plan of 40 ships and 127 ships in 2023.
