Port of Benoa First Turnaround in 2024, succesfully serve MS Celebrity Millenium

The Port of Benoa, Bali, successfully served the turnaround or embarkation and disembarkation of passengers of the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship on January 4, 2024, and January 28, 2024. The Maltese-flagged cruise ship carried 4,400 passengers embarking and disembarking (Turn Around). This activity is one of the proud achievements of Pelindo, especially the Port of Benoa and BMTH as the gateway for sea tourism in Indonesia.

The turnaround process for the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship took place from 06:00 to 16:00 WITA. A total of 5,200 passengers and crew members were successfully serviced during the turnaround process. Several preparations were made to ensure the smooth process, including luggage handling arrangements, provision of mechanical and telescopic gangways, ticket check-in procedures for passengers, and customs and immigration processes.

This was followed by the second turnaround service with the same ship on January 28, 2024, with a total of 4,300 passengers. This indicates the trust of the cruise line principle in the reliability of the Port of Benoa in providing turnaround services with a larger passenger capacity.
