In the year 2024, 144 cruise ships were recorded to have called at the country’s ports, which is 13% more than the previous year’s figure. Also, the passenger through put showed a very good impression of increase with a total of 254,159 passengers, which is 47% increase from the previous year.
This accomplishment is the result of the trust and effort of our valuable partners in providing good service in our ports. The Top 5 ports with the highest passenger traffic in 2024 are as follows:
1. Benoa Port – 107,717 passengers
2. Lembar Port – 77,994 passengers
3. Tanjung Emas Port – 24,400 passengers
4. Tanjung Perak Port – 23,483 passengers
5. Celukan Bawang Port – 19,116 passengers
These excellent outcomes warrant us to enhance our facilities and services in order to provide the best experience for cruise ship owners and their passengers. We do believe that the partnership should be strengthened in a way that would make Indonesia one of the major cruise ship hubs in the Asia Pacific region.
