Pelindo is proud to share a significant milestone for Port of Benoa – Bali, as we successfully accommodated Anthem of the Seas on February 28, 2025. This achievement underscores our continued commitment to providing world-class facilities and services, ensuring seamless cruise operations in Indonesia.
With a Gross Tonnage of 167,800 and a Length Overall (LOA) of 348 meters, Anthem of the Seas is one of the largest cruise vessels ever handled at Port of Benoa. This successful operation reinforces our position as a strategic turnaround and homeport destination in Southeast Asia.
To support the growing demand for cruise operations and ensure safe, efficient navigation for large vessels, Port of Benoa has implemented critical infrastructure improvements, including:
-
Expansion of the Turning Basin to 580 Meters in Diameter – ensuring safe and efficient maneuverability for large cruise ships.
-
Completion of Dredging to -12 MLWS Depth – optimizing draft conditions across all channels for deep-draft vessels.
Widening of the Navigation Channel to 200 Meters – enhancing accessibility and navigational safety for cruise operations. -
ENC (Electronic Navigational Chart) Update for Anthem of the Seas Arrival – ensuring accurate, real-time navigation data, enhancing safety and operational efficiency for future cruise calls.
These enhancements solidify Port of Benoa’s capability to accommodate larger vessels while maintaining seamless embarkation and disembarkation processes, delivering an exceptional passenger experience.
